Finally done…yeesh!

February 22, 2013 by threadtales

Took a wee bit longer than I anticipated, but that’s okay. I like it. Special thanks to Kathy of Tamarack Shack for the tutorial on the curved border design…once I got the hang of it, it went pretty quickly…I am always a little slow with ruler work…and of course to Pat who makes great quilt tops and then lets me play. šŸ™‚

I could not get the design in the green path to show up very well…I kinda made up a leafy fill based on the fabric print…I wish you could see it better…

Maybe we could see it better on the back. What I can see looks great!

Unfortunately, the quilting on the back is even less noticeable…If I get a chance I may draw it out and post a pic later…

    Hi Terri,
I can see this took a wee bit of time!! I really want to try my hand at the curved border design. It’s very effective! Great work!!

Looks beautiful. Love the curve design in the borders.

The curved design looks great on this quilt, glad you found my tutorial helpful!
Love your large pebbles and leafy designs too!

I have been waiting for the right quilte ( and client!) to come along to try out your curved border…I don’t do a lot of ruler work so I wanted to make it count…this border was actually a little too big for my largest boomerang ruler, but I made it work.

      Thanks again, Kathy!

Oh my gosh, I love this Terri. That border design is wonderful. I might ask for that on my next quilt. What a lucky getting such a beautifully quilted gift.

Love the CBD also, but what did you do in the last photo, green border?

Ohhhhhhhhh! that is beautiful. Could you give a hint on how you did the curved border. All of your designs look so good together. Congrats.
