Hope those of you who celebrate the Christmas holiday are enjoying your family and friends.
We had a quiet morning at home with Aubrey. Everyone is currently playing with one of their new toys or reading one of their new books.
Maris got me a Fitbit Ultra that I asked Santa for…it is a fascinating little piece of technology…and it occurred to me as I explored it’s functions and the website that I really AM a data dork…I LOVE knowing how much; how far; how long, etc…it is the same way I relate to my business software – I regularly check my reports – How many. How much time. What designs are most popular, etc…Dork I tell you, dork.
Maris got a cycling computer for his bike…are we sensing a theme here? How far. How fast. Cadence? Heart rate?
AND Aubrey helped me set up OverDrive on my nook! YAY! OverDrive is the software that allows me to download books from the library…now, instead of downloading to my computer and transfering via USB I can search anddownload them directly to my nookcolor! Oh boy, oh boy, oh BOY!

I just looked at FitBits at the store yesterday. Perfect for you oh walker friend. And OverDrive – well you will have to train me on that one too.
Adding the overdrive app to your nook is really easy! I will help, but I bet you could do it…find the app on the nook app site…its free!

Judy, I use MQBS by Eureka Documentation. I have used it from the beginning and I really like it. It is NOT an accounting software. You still need to keep your books using Money or Quicken or something.

I started using Overdrive a while back on my iPad to listen to audio books while I knit. It’s great!

I didn’t think of doing audio books on my nook, Mary! I have had overdrive for a few years on my computer, but until recently you had to download everything to your computer first. Skipping that step is great…now I need to try an audio…Tx!
