Monday I went “finish up” shopping with my sister…that was exhausting!
Today – Tuesday I went grocery shopping and spent most of the day candy making…peppermint bark, toffee, fudge, etc
I still need to assembly a batch of these – with Xmas Ms
Honestly…I’m kinda bored. After doing a little baking tomorrow I think I am going to drag out some quilting books and find a project to do on retreat in January. I have those yummy hand-dyes I bought at Rene’s in Traverse City and I want to find the right pattern to use them
In other news – We went to the farm and cut our tree on Saturday. Just beat the rain. Maris spent all of Sunday and about three hours Monday night getting the lights on. Seriously. Its an ART with him and I can’t complain because the results are fantastic. He wraps each branch from the trunk out…I am guessing we have 1200 or more lights on our 6 foot tree.
Aub is home Sunday night to put the ointminks on and decorate cookies.
Hope you are enjoying your holiday prep as much as we are!
Holiday hugs!

Those hand-dyes look fab. I hope you enjoyed your search for the perfect pattern. I think the planning is as much fun as the making. Have a wonderful Christmas.
Thanks, Lucie…you, too!
