Soooo…Judy’s crayon quilt is done and off…
And these are “square” feathers…I haven’t done these in a long time and then I did them on the last two quilts. I like this “feather” when I want a vine that is not especially “girly” and I don’t really want leaves, either. It is a “Once Around” design, meaning there is no separate spine and you do the whole design in one pass instead of three. (one pass for the spine, one for adding fronds to each side of the spine) Does that make sense or do I need to explain better?

These square feathers are great– and besides the shape– which is great, I love that it’s done in one pass. Thanks for sharing.
Very nice.
Makes sense…I like that will need to try it! Thanks! Jan
Makes perfect sense. Great quilting choices.
