Pretty applique quilt – Christine did a marvelous job on the hand applique…the pieced border really adds a nice touch as well
This one is from Tuesday…two quilts in one – the top is patriotic prints and the back is angel panels…simple filigree all-over quilting.

I am wondering what weight/ thickness of thread you are using, it shows up nicely, also like the filigree….have been practicing it on paper…spacing is so important.
I used King Tut which is a #40 on the top (2nd pic) and Bottom Line, a 60wt for the bobbin (3rd pic).
Filigree is a fast, easy all over in this size…I do it tight and small for background fill occasionally…
